Ficaccio is the result of an intuition of casa madaio, which consists in combining the freshness of buffalo milk with the herbaceous aroma of cilento fig leaves.

Fresh milk from cows and buffalos is coagulated with the addition of rennet, then it matures for about thirty-forty days wrapped up in fig leaves.

In the natural caves, the high environment humidity rate gives freshness, softness and typical aroma of figs.
