Cow’s milk and buffalo milk
The Ficaccio is the result if an intuition of Casa Madaio, which consists in combining the freshness of buffalo and cow milk with the herbaceous aroma of Cilento fig leaves. Produced by Casa Madaio in the National park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano, Ficaccio is manually wrapped up in fig leaves. The product matures for about thirty-forty days,
and the leaves, keeping the humidity, give much more freshness softness and the typical aroma of figs . Its shape is cilindrical, it has an herbaceous flavour, with a sweet taste and a strong after taste of buffalo milk. The consistence is compact and slightly soft.
